Care Package Treasures from Russia

Hooray! I finally received the package from my parents!!

Here’s what émigrés are eagerly waiting for from Russia these days:

💚 The long-awaited family album for 2025—this is our third one!

💚 My favorite reference book by Nora Gal, "The Living and the Dead Word"—a must-read for anyone writing in Russian.

💚 New collars and a harness with a leash for Lucy. We’ve tried so many brands that I’ve lost count. Sharik Dog is the best!

💚 A holder for bags from the collaboration between Sharik and Netology, which I was involved with.

💚 A Christmas ornament plushie. This was my favorite little bun, and my grandmother and I would always munch on it during my childhood.

💚 Squid and dried fish—lots of salty snacks for my husband.

💚 My old toy horse, which Lucy immediately claimed for herself.

And, of course, no care package is complete without some cigarettes! 😁
