Weekly Update

💚 Last week, I spent a lot of time in the city, and it is simply gorgeous! It’s so touristy too! Navigating the streets feels like waddling like a penguin during rush hour in the subway.

💚 Yesterday, I managed to convince my husband to update his wardrobe with a nice autumn selection from Uniqlo. After living in the Emirates for three years, I can understand why he only had t-shirts in his closet. I also snagged one of their famous bags from my favorite transportation museum collaboration!

💚 I thought I had been to a pub with a real fireplace before, but for some reason, I believed there wouldn’t be any in the city center! Well, Cock Tavern is located practically on Oxford Street, and surprisingly, there weren’t many people there on a Sunday evening.

💚 Once everything clicked with my work, I immediately felt the urge to find a mentor and explore short courses in London. As I figure things out and discover useful opportunities, I’ll definitely share what I learn.

💚 And yesterday morning, I accidentally got involved in saving a swan in our park. But that’s a story for another time!
