City Adventures and Daily Routines

Weekly News

🧡 Now that I'm on the hunt for an apartment, every morning at Hampstead Heath, I find myself wondering if I could live without it on a daily basis. Every immigrant can relate to this feeling – you cling tightly to those routines forged by hard work and determination. In addition to my morning walks, I've already had some adventures, including swimming in the pond, rescuing a swan, watching sunsets from the hill, and even photographing the moon on the shard.

🧡 My cat has developed a love for cooking with me in the mornings, so I find myself having to set up a stool for him. I think in the latest video, he’s dreaming about our breakfast that he missed out on.

🧡 My friend from Barcelona has come to visit London! If you remember, I had a little challenge involving the rats from the National Gallery. After nearly half a year, I’ve finally handed her the first one.

🧡 We went together on a tour of Parliament yesterday. I’m not sure if you can book a specific tour guide, but we had the amazing and humorous Eshi Modi. I think this is the first time I’ve remembered a guide’s name. Later in the evening, we enjoyed “The Devil Wears Prada,” which is my fourth musical here.

🧡 We had dinner at a Scottish pub called The Admiralty. It’s in quite a touristy area, but it's such a gem—totally exceeded my expectations. Luckily for Ole, there was even a bagpiper! By the way, today the Scots are celebrating the birthday of their beloved poet Robert Burns. One of his most famous works is an ode to Scotland’s national dish, haggis.
