Delicious AirFryer Cheesecake Experiment
Autumn has bitten me, and I’m continuing my experimentation with various pies in the AirFryer.
I came across an interesting healthy cheesecake recipe on Reels that I felt compelled to try, but there was one issue — soft cottage cheese was nowhere to be found.
So, I decided to experiment and used crème fraîche instead. To my surprise, it turned out to be delicious! The pie even looked just as beautiful as a Basque cheesecake.
The recipe is simple — just mix everything until smooth and bake for 40 minutes at 180°C.
I found all the ingredients at M&S, except for the sweetener and the pudding mix. It turns out that the pudding mix was a bit tricky to find here too, so I opted for Custard Powder from Coop.
I even calculated the calories, and it comes to 173 kcal per 120-gram slice.
I tried making it again with cottage cheese from M&S, but it didn’t turn out well. It was too salty, and the texture wasn’t as smooth because of the grainy cottage cheese.
As for the bananas and apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and walnuts — that’s a must-have for me. Just 12 minutes at 180°C, and they’re ready! 🍏🍌✨
