Discovering the Double Doodle Puppy
Double Doodle?!
Today, I played my second match in the tennis league against a sixty-year-old woman.
Between games, we chatted about dogs and reminisced about new designer breeds like Maltipoo and Cockapoo. She mentioned:
- My friends recently got a puppy of such an interesting breed… a DOUBLE DOODLE!
I barely held back my laughter. She reminded me so much of my mom, who says “Вильдебрайс” instead of “Wildberries.”
- You mean Labradoodle, right?
- Yes, yes, that’s possible...
When I got home, I decided to Google it just in case. And guess what?! DOUBLE DOODLE is a real thing!
It literally means “double poodle,” as it’s a mix of Goldendoodle (Golden Retriever + Poodle) and Labradoodle (Labrador Retriever + Poodle).
I felt so embarrassed for Rebecca that I even texted her about it. She replied with a photo of her daughter’s Double Doodle.
The puppy’s name is Maggie!
