Embracing Autumn in London
Weekly Highlights
🧡 I'm not sure about you, but I was absolutely thrilled when autumn suddenly arrived in London last week! The summer felt so packed, and now I’m craving a bit of calm and a productive mindset. The first of September, with its sharp shift to a study-work vibe, seems to be etched in my brain for life.
🧡 I read my first book from MIF that my parents brought back for me! "My Neighbor Frau Mohrmann" is perfect if you're looking for something sweet and touching to enjoy over one or two evenings.
🧡 I bought a new egg holder shaped like a penguin! At the Liberty store on the third floor, there's a huge display of Hannah Turner's delightful ceramics featuring all sorts of animals. By the way, my all-time favorite pink holder is actually a failed cup from H&M designed for toothbrushes. Can you imagine the size of a cup where even an egg doesn’t fit?
🧡 And of course, there are the finals of the US Open! As you can see, I was ready to watch five sets in the men's final yesterday. It's a pity I didn’t have to!
