Exciting Week of News and Adventures

Weekly News

💜 This week was undoubtedly the best time to purchase my first British newspaper! In an unprecedented event in recent history, Prince Andrew, the brother of the King, was arrested in connection with the Epstein case.

💜 A new Gail’s café has opened near my home. We hope its presence will brighten up our not-so-great corner by the subway. It’s quite spacious and cozy inside, perfect for working on my laptop.

💜 I've started knitting a vest in the style of granny squares. I just love this fluffy blue yarn!

💜 I also played another match in the Islington tennis league this week and secured a victory! That brings my total to three wins, with four more matches left in the group stage.

💜 Today, we took a stroll in the area where we’re considering moving. Muswell Hill is amazing—it doesn’t seem that high, but the height difference is so significant that in some spots, the view of London feels like you’re looking over a cliff.

💜 We wandered all the way to Alexandra Palace. I read more about it, and it's fascinating that it was initially built in the 1870s as a "people's palace," with a separate railway line constructed just for it. Tons of different events are held there, including surprisingly, the World Darts Championship.
