Exploring Knitting, Neighborhoods, and Hidden Gems
Weekly Highlights
๐ I've caught a bit of a knitting fever! Iโve almost finished half of a shawl, started knitting a hat for my husband for the New Year, and Iโve even planned another project. I just canโt stop!
๐ In December, I take special pleasure in wandering through our neighborhood and peeking into windows to admire the Christmas trees and decorations.
๐ Did you know you can rent an old red bus for weddings in London? You can choose the bus, and theyโre mostly from the 1960s. It has "Just Married" written on the back and the couple's names and wedding date on the side. This delightful experience costs around ยฃ2000 for the entire day.
๐ Weโve been exploring and discovered a lovely new walking route, the New River Walk. It reminds me a bit of a Japanese garden.
๐ Iโm not usually a fan of traditional English food, but today I tried a pie with mushrooms, chicken, and bacon at Mother Mash. It was delicious, but I think that might be my only meal for the day! ๐
๐ I've been working on my job search this week and decided to completely change my approach. Iโll try to gather my thoughts and share something useful next week.
