💚 I finished reading a book! I enjoyed it so much that I decided to take it to James Park for the last 50 pages. Why hadn't I come here before to relax among the squirrels, ducks, and geese?

💚 For those wondering about the vase update: don’t hold your breath, it’s not going well. The grouting process turned out to be incredibly complicated. The fine tile design has been quite a challenge. I’ve also broken several mirrors that I awkwardly stuck in line with the base. So, before I end up smashing the vase against the wall in frustration, I’ve decided to put it away for a while.

💚 Just before summer ended, I finally gathered the courage to take a dip in Hampstead Ponds! I loved it. It felt like a special local experience, rather than a tourist trap. Entry is £4.80, and on hot days, it’s best to book ahead. Each session lasts 45 minutes, so you can't linger too long.

💚 Over the weekend, we took a walk by the canal and unexpectedly met two border collies playing with a ball. Their owners were nowhere in sight, probably living on a boat nearby. After a while, the ball ended up in the canal. You can watch our coordinated effort to retrieve it in the video! 😁

💚 We tried a new coffee blend from Amsterdam roasters. I usually buy my beans at Velasquez and Van Wezel on my way back from tennis. They always have a wide selection!
