Family Adventures in London

On the day my parents arrived, we showed them our little apartment, strolled around the neighborhood, and visited our favorite park, Hampstead!

Yesterday marked our first full day in London. We explored the National Gallery and went to see the musical "The Phantom of the Opera."

I really caught the tourist vibe alongside my parents and even snagged some stickers from the gallery as souvenirs for our little rodent chat group! The musical was truly outstanding! Now, all three shows we've seen—including "The Lion King" and "Moulin Rouge"—are definitely on my recommendation list.

My dad is finding the cultural agenda a bit overwhelming, but no need to worry— we’ve got a special pub program just for him. In two days, we've already hit four pubs!

In the second pub near our home, we were served by a very typical British lad. At one point, he overheard us speaking Russian and chimed in:

Imagine the accent here

— Excuse me.. Do you speak Russian? I studied Russian at two universities, including Yaroslavl State University.

He spent the whole evening trying to converse with us in Russian, and we showered him with compliments! 🥹
