Hidden Culinary Gems Near Home

Every time Lucy and I go for a walk, I make an effort to avoid the main street and the busiest part of our neighborhood — there are so many people rushing around, limited space, and the billboards can be overwhelming.

But it’s so nice to come here sometimes and explore all these little spots! Just a 10-minute walk from home, we managed to:

❣️ Have lunch at a Korean place
❣️ Buy miso and tofu at the Asian supermarket
❣️ Grab a dessert to take home from the Italian bakery

We also had the option of Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and Turkish cuisines, all within a short walk.

There are so many signs and so much visual noise that we only just discovered a cat café in our area today! All thanks to the huge Maine Coon named Jack, who sat right by the window.

In the last photo, I'm holding a ridiculously large cinnamon stick from the Asian supermarket.
