Innovative Marketing at Crypto Conferences
What’s Interesting at Crypto Conferences
Every time my husband returns from these events, I ask him what caught his attention from a marketing perspective. It’s a professional habit of mine!
At the last conference in Cannes, there was a booth featuring NFC manicures. You could elegantly touch your nail to someone else's phone, and it would link you to a website for finding cheap tickets on Aviasales. 💅
Recently in Belgrade, I came across folks with an actual beehive! Honestly, I never fully understood what they were promoting. They looked like regular beekeepers who had found a new audience among cryptocurrency wallet holders.
Last year in Bangkok, the organizers provided an amazing giveaway. They created a cultural connection to the event's location—a paper lantern that attendees had to assemble themselves, paired with a small inhaler containing fermented herbs. All of this was accompanied by catchy, thoughtfully crafted slogans.
If I had brought this idea as a reference to one of my previous companies, our budget would have probably resulted in something far less appealing.
In general, I’m not sure how techies evaluate all of this, but the marketing wives at home are definitely impressed!
