Job Hunts and Weekend Adventures

Weekly Updates

🧡 I'm still actively applying for jobs and facing a fair amount of rejections. I think I've found a routine that works for me—20 applications a week, five a day with Wednesdays off.

🧡 I can't shake off my Moscow habits—I've booked tickets for "The Nutcracker" at The Royal Opera House on December 31st. Honestly, I'm not sure how many times I've seen this ballet—maybe 15? Unlike the craziness in Moscow, there are still plenty of tickets available here, although the performance is a daytime show.

🧡 To be honest, I was a bit worried about my mushroom growing last week—it wasn’t doing well. But I recently noticed a sudden boost! Today, I’m redoing the setup and hoping for a good kombucha harvest next week.

🧡 I came across the sweetest little house for sale in our area—it's just like a gingerbread house! It's only one million pounds, and it's yours. Inside, there's almost nothing, and it needs a complete renovation.

🧡 Yesterday, we went to Kentish City Farm to mentally recover after a tough week. Such a lovely place! The pigs completely won my heart. It's best to visit during specific hours when you can give the animals some love.

🧡 Today, at the suggestion of some local friends, my husband and I headed to St Albans—a city north of London. I'll share more about that tomorrow!
