Maximizing a Small Storage Closet

It seems you enjoyed my post about cleaning, so here’s the second installment!

Today’s task was a bit more challenging — tackling a small storage closet measuring just 1.2 square meters.

We had already upgraded it a little when we moved into the apartment by installing a boot shelf, placing a wooden box, and keeping a coat rack left by the previous owners. However, over time, the space became cramped again.

I added suction cup hooks for the metal surface (which turned out to be fantastic) and picked up a vertical coat rack for the other door.

Now, the closet houses: a washing machine and its essentials, a vacuum cleaner, some outerwear, two pairs of boots, shopping bags, an ironing board, a small suitcase for carry-on luggage, a large tennis bag, paddle balls, bike helmets, all of Lucy’s things and leashes, plus a strategic stash of toilet paper and towels.

For over a year, I couldn’t find the perfect spot for the sticker that says “The world is small,” and it turned out it was just waiting for its ideal place! 😁
