Memorable Moments from a Week of Joy
Weekly Update
💙 Dinner with my husband's colleagues went wonderfully! The duck turned out perfectly, and the purple potatoes made quite an impression. As usual, I forgot to take any pictures, except for one where I'm enjoying the foie gras that my French colleague brought.
💙 I thought the warm relationship between Marusya and Lyusya had reached its peak, but this week they surprised me — the cat jumped into the dog's bed, and they slept together peacefully for two hours.
💙 Besides my match with Rebecca in the tennis league, my husband and I played doubles — this is part of our inter-club competition. I usually play with my Norwegian partner, but he won’t be available for the next month. We lost all four sets! Fortunately, we didn't have a fight after the game.
💙 Yesterday, we went for a long walk and explored new neighborhoods: Belgravia, Chelsea, and Battersea. I’ll share more about how we spent Valentine’s Day and our visit to the museum separately!
💙 I ended up going back to that antique shop and bought... three old letters! One is addressed to a father from a college student at Oxford, another is in a green envelope — a mystery, as I don't know anything about it. The largest one is a wild love letter! Just look at the gentleman’s signature at the end next to that charming little heart:
It seems this arrow hit the artery.
(Send me a drop of your blood in the next letter to prove that you have a heart too)
Mama mia!!
