What’s going on with the mushrooms?

The first square mushroom is thriving! It has developed impressive air cushions, making it so much easier for it to float—now it happens instantly. For those sensitive to mushroom surprises, I'm keeping the details under wraps!

I made my first kombucha with strawberries and raspberries. The strawberries are delicious, but the raspberries… they’re simply heavenly! I can’t find the words to describe it. I just wish I could share the taste!

A few weeks ago, I tried to grow a second mushroom, but it spoiled. I added too much tea to a weak mushroom, and it just fizzled out. I was trying to do two things at once—grow the mushroom and make a drink.

I ended up tossing it out and decided to stick to the science. This time, I poured the unstrained drink from the first mushroom into a jar, and within just a few days, a strong culture had developed!
