Navigating Pet Chaos at Home

It's quite amusing to look back at certain experiences with the passage of time.

The first three photos were taken in September 2023, just after we brought Lucy to Abu Dhabi and introduced her to the cats.

It was absolute chaos—there was nothing "Instagram-worthy" about it. The dog chased the cats all over the apartment, and the poor animals were practically living on the window ledge and behind my nightstand. We even had to set up a bed for them on the refrigerator to give them at least one safe spot.

As for me, I ended up with a scar from my attempt to force everyone to get along. For several weeks, I was carrying the cats to the litter box and their food bowls because Lucy wouldn’t let them have a moment of peace.

The atmosphere at home felt as if two adults had moved in, each with their children who had developed a mutual hatred for each other. In short, we just accepted the situation and waited it out.

And now, two years later, here we are. ❤️‍🩹
