Last year, I found out too late and everything was already sold out. By the way, there are still tickets available!
❣️ I finally got around to registering for a local tennis app. I’m joining the Islington women’s tennis league! There will be seven matches until mid-March for group advancement. One interesting fact at the moment is that one of my opponents has the last name Shakespeare.
❣️ Of course, I watched the Australian Open all week. I’m thrilled for Lena and Carlos, but it’s quite disheartening for Djokovic…
❣️ Yesterday, we took a stroll through Highgate, imagining what our future apartment might look like there. Once again, we stumbled upon a box filled with all sorts of odds and ends—more like they find us! We picked up this wonderful bottle opener made from deer horn. We’re taking it as part of a gift for a birthday celebration today!
❣️ We encountered an unusual tree! It's a Chilean Araucaria. These were quite fashionable in English gardens during the Victorian era. Unfortunately, it seems that this particular tree is dead—it should be completely green.
❣️ I’m still adjusting to such an early spring; we already have crocuses and daffodils blooming in the green meadows!
